    "Sugar" Ray Robinson
    Muhammad Ali
    Joe Frazier
    "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler
    Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins

In no particular order, those guys are awe-inspiring.

Let's just not think about Gatti-Gamache or Gatti-Munoz, those 2 fights make me wanna beat his ass for cheating. Other than that, he's cool...

Hilmer Kenty. He invited me and my trainer over to his house when I was an amatuer. We sat and talked for a long time about his boxing and my plans for boxing. At one point he brought out his title belt that he had won and when I saw it i just about ****, it was so cool. That belt definately inspired me but so did Hilmer. The thing that was inspirational about him was the fact that he was a nice guy and very much a gentleman. It showed me that you dont have to be a street thug to be a good or tough fighter. You can have class and carry yourself with pride as a gentleman. Hilmer is class all the way through. I havent seen him lately but he is still an inspiration. He was involved in the government in one way or another in the stae and was running for office again. Im not sure how he made out. One cool thing with Hilmer too is that he was an announcer in one of my pro fights that was televised. He said alot of cool things about me and just made me sound good. And in my humble opinion I was back then. Anyway, Hilmer was the most inspirational for me.

                Rockin'

he didnt cheat he made weight both the times it was the amount of weight he gained after the weigh In...not cheating and I believe their were no restrictions about him doing it
and if gamache had felt he didnt make weight the first time he shouldnt of fought in the first place

Draining yourself down to welterweight and then going up to supermiddle weight the day of the fight is cheating. If it isn't, I'd like to know what is.

Also, B-Hop is incredibly inspiring, not just as a boxer, but as a person. I'm sure everyone here knows his story, so I won't go into it.

As for guys who make me want to box... Roy Jones Jr is probably it for me. I love watching him fight, but at the same time, I realize that I'd never be anything like him if I was to ever be a professional boxer.

And to Rockin: What is it that made you quit boxing? Was it an injury or something? You've probably answered this before, but I have not seen the answer.
