I think they meant to say that it averaged that amount. There's no way it peaked so low.

I've been watching Showtime boxing via the app for the past 2 years and know plenty who do the same.
I believe only HBO ratings are somewhat close to accurate. Their streaming channels don't show live fights and are only available through to stream through the DirectTv app or any other cable provider app. We will never know the exact views of a boxing card with people streaming through ESPN+, ESPN app, Showtime app and the soon to come Dazn.
I used the app also on the Xbox

they should stop trying to sell TV-quality fights as PPV. Canadians are not rubes to be taken advantage of. They sell Stevenson and David Lemieux fights as PPV events, and then they wonder why boxing is not more popular here. It's been this way as long as I've been a fan. They used to try to sell 'Hercules Kyvelos' fights on PPV here. Ridiculous.
yes, you are right. It is challenging to be a fan in Canada. I look at it almost like a sport to itself just to follow it. take care , bro...did you go to the fight? I thought there would be way more people there.

This was a solid card, what a shame it did not do so well. Both fights were competitive.

I really don't think stevenson minds losing or getting a lucky draw. He used to literally make a living by sitting in a corner being cuckolded by his underage girlfriend. I don't doubt he would kneel down and blow any poster on this board for a few dollars then lick it up off the floor. Hopefully he does care that he pissed his career away ducking the big names & isn't enough of a draw to really "cash out".

I'm sure it did pretty well and was seen by plenty that don't get counted by these ratings. I'm sure there's more than plenty who watch fights via Showtimes streaming app.

It's quite normal to be honest because both of them do not do numbers.
