Sampson Boxing is doing a great job promoting David Benavidez. IDK why he wants to go to Top Rank and that old punk motherfuccer Bob Arum??

I'm sure top rank can offer more money and probably the most alluring fight at that weight class which is ramirez. You know how arum works, he won't let you fight any of his big names unless he has rights to you as well.

Yeah your right about that. But too be honest I see the fight between Benavidez and Ramirez only being big amongst mexican fans. I don't think other fans that aren't Mexican really care too much about this fight.
If I'm Benavidez I stay put and I'll let Sampson and Al Haymon guide my career. They done good for him so far and he's actually been active so IDK what the issue is.. Other than money of course.

Arum has nothing going on at 168 for Zurdo.

So rather than work with other promoters to make some meaningful fights he chooses to poach a fighter instead. That way he can continue his in-house ways.

Top Rank is offering more. Isn’t that how it always goes? Fighters follow the money. Well, not all, but Benavidez is very young.

I’m sure the media will be up in arms that TR is overpaying fighters.

yeah, it won't be a huge fight but probably one of the best fights that can be made in that weight class. All of the bug names are either 1 division below at mw or 1 division above at 175. I think benavidez os the real deal. Not completely sold on ramirez yet.
