Joshua beat an aging, faded Klitschko that looked like he was half dead in his previous loss to Fury about 1.5 years prior. And in the fight before that, Wlad failed to KO Bryant Jennings, who was KO'd by Ortiz in his very next fight.

Wlad hasn't been Wlad since 2014. That's the reality.

Joshua can only fight who's in front of him, so he still deserves credit for the win, but you can't make more of it than it was. Wlad was done.

Wbc don't want to give such assurance, it's all scam to protect wilder hence, that route is as good as wasting time.
Sounds very similar to Wilder wanting assurances that if he fights Whyte, he gets AJ.

Why was it so wrong for Wilder to seek secondary assurances but OK for Whyte to do it ...... Just stating the obvious here.

I thought Wlad's conditioning and performance against AJ was the best he's managed in years but it's certainly true that he was well past his prime.

Now should we say both of them were ducking?

And Ortiz was in his prime I guess when he fought wilder.

I'm just saying that the last time Wlad looked like himself was against Pulev in 2014. I'm not trying to turn this into a Wilder comparison and try to pump up that Ortiz win. The simple fact is Wlad failed to KO Jennings but Ortiz didn't, then Wlad lost to Fury, then Joshua beat him a year and a half later.

Prime Wlad would have obliterated Jennings, Fury, Joshua, Ortiz, Wilder... any of them. But prime Wlad is gone and he's not coming back.

Let's be charitable and say that it looks as if they were making things up as they went along and so faced with the choice between the IBF route to a title challenge and the WBC one I think Whyte would be foolish to put much faith in the latter.
I don’t know how Breazeale got a mando slot.. but, the under ground confrontation between wilder an Breazeales camp makes it interesting.. but I feel u.. nor do I know how luis ortiz gets another shot at the 2nd mando slot so quickly.. but who in the hell is dillian shtye, to say he deserves a shot? I mean come on.. Dat fool lost to chinsora.. an looked like crap against browne.. an he's crying about fighting someone who he himself said was an easy fight.. an that the man was 60,000 years old!!! An the old man has called him out for his disrespect.. I want to see him back up that big mouth!!! Do it an he has the attention of the American public.. but he's a coward.. so he should just fight pulev. An gain no respect from the hardcores..
