Loma and GGG fight more fantasy fights on here than any other boxers. I voted for Loma.

I'm stunned that anyone could pick Valero here. It's not even a difficult call.

Valero stops him in both scenarios. He was something special

Demarco’s best win was Linares doe.

I thinn Valero would have been a stylistically difficult fight for Loma. Too unorthodox and aggressive of a pro style. Loma still hasn’t fought someone as rough and willing to throw as Salido.

There comes a point where skill doesnt matter to the other guy and it’s impossible to discourage him from throwing and landing by whatever mean necessary. Linares isn’t a big puncher at all. Valero was. Salido has been the only iron willed guy Loma has fought and it’s no coincidence its the only time he lost. That wasnt even a good version of Salido...

Valero overwhelms him. Got dat dead man mystique that wins all fantasy fights.

Valero would have a difficult time even getting off punches without getting shellacked with 3 or 4 down the middle.
that's not true. being denied a license and fighting in japan ruined Valero. during his come up, he had great boxing skills to go along with his natural talent. there's all kinds of sparring footage out there to prove it. he completely changed his style when he went over to japan and became some type of novelty act ko monster.

Exactly! People act as if Salido beat the Loma of today.

Loma that night was very hesitant, learning the ropes and not even close to what he is now.

It's like a baby learning how to swim. Once he learned that you will drown if you dont be more active and be yourself, he was/is a much better fighter.

That is why typically you take fights before you fight for championships, to learn those things.

But he wanted/s to be the best and he got burnt.

But either way, I hope Loma can avenge the loss to Salido and then get Mikey at the end of the year. One can dream at least...

Loma doesn’t look that different... he’s looked equally as spectacular against everyone except Salido. Salido isnt getting the credit his low blowin ass deserves tbh

His very next fight was GRJr and that’s turning out to be one of his best (if not best) perfomances to date. Loma isnt some 19 year old kid. Nothing prepares you for your first Salido type fighter
