This is bs. So.... refuse a test because you're going to test dirty, do less than a month in rehab, not tell anyone the substance you used, all is forgiven. Or test, come up dirty, everyone knows exactly what substance you're taking, get suspended for six months. Every cheating boxer should just refuse to test. Or this cheater should be banned for a minimum of two years by every boxing association.

I ain't at all sure that's the true, man. Probably smart to be aware of your triggers, though... just in case.

But yeah. Good luck Carlos... if you only ever win one more fight in your life, make sure it's this one.

Well, that was quick. I just hope the WBC make sure he takes drug tests just to be on the safe side. Wouldn't want to give him excuses to not have to do the tests. That would definitely be dodgy.

                  No, it's not always true.

What i assume is meant by that saying is - once you have been down that road, you will always have a little itch that wants to be scratched.
You can't really predict a trigger though, as it's usually when life goes pear shaped (loved one dies, break up with wife, loss of job etc) that they relapse. This could be 15 years later, so that little itch never truely goes away but those that hold off are strong of mind, and much respect to them.

I agree with your comment though, and yeah, this will be his biggest fight and i hope he wins it also!

I suspect that's what was meant too which is why I couched it the way I did. For myself that **** all seems like a lifetime ago even though it ain't really been that long - but it's almost impossible to imagine going back to it. OTOH I know folk who have gone back after a decade or more for no apparent reason at all - so you just never do know for sure..
