How a fighter slips a jab is largely dependent on what tools a fighter brings to the ring and what they've been taught.

Smother, catch/parry, roll, weave, and moving the feet are easily 5 ways to slip a jab and that's without really trying to think.

1) When slipping a jab what is the correct technique?

A) Slip the jab at a ninety degree angle, while laterally stepping off to your right, then shunting forward with a right cross
B) Parrying the jab with a downward movement with your left hand
C) Slipping to the inside of the jab
D) None of the above

First, a slip is just a slip. It can be outside or inside. They are both correct. What happens after is context dependent and isn’t part of slipping anything. Second, a parry isn’t a slip.
