How do you see Loma-Duran at 135 going?

duran was skilled and a beast at the weight, he'd maul loma for 12 rounds, for 15 rounds or anything in between.

Loma is pretty damn skilled himself, not sure why people are acting like it is a ridiculous fight..Duran lost to lesser fighters

Duran v Dejesus 1 was actually fought above 135. It was a meaningless ten round non title fight.

Correct. It was a non title fight in the 140 division.

Ah, I knew it was non-title, didn't know it was not 135. According to BoxRec (not the most reliable source I know), Duran was 137.5, and DeJesus was 138. You learn something every day

Duran has too much energy, power, durability and pure grit to, at the very least, outwork Loma. By outwork, I mean the power landed on him early on will take a toll and thus feed Duran's momentum. Sure if anyone today could comfortably go 15 rounds it's Loma but that being said that is what Duran was conditioned for.

Hmmm. Loma is at the upper end of his weight range. Duran at the lower end. He's naturally bigger, has an outstanding chin, a great boxer with excellent defense and a big punch. His infighting skills are second to none. There are videos on the internet devoted soley to Duran's infighting skills. IQ. There is a thread on this website. I believe it's called the best I've ever faced, where fighters speak about their best opponents attributes. Almost without fail his opponents say that Duran has the highest ring IQ of anyone they have ever fought. Loma IMO can't beat Duran.

Yeah. Have you seen me say I think Loma would beat Duran on balance of probability? No. Because I ain't said that, nor is it at all the point I was trying to make. All I was trying to say is that people need to be wary about just how high a pedestal they put ATG fighters on. These guys are human and can be beaten... Duran, no matter how great he was, was beaten at LW.

There is no fighter I enjoy watching more than Duran and he is probably my favourite fighter of all time, but yes, he could be beaten and if Dejesus could beat him then so, potentially, could numerous others.
