Comments Thread For: Adonis Stevenson Admits: I Need To Be More Active

I thought Stevenson's phtsique looked very good and trim at the weigh in and he didn't look drained at all, he looked fresh and was smiling even though he weighed 173.5 or something. I think for his age and activity level especially in tough 12 round championship fights he was in a pretty good shape. Remember, Stevenson hasn't been in that kind of fight in many years and that certainly didn't help.

I dislike Stevenson as much as the next man, but credit where it's due.

Awesome to hear him say that, I wouldn't mind him taking a tune-up before giving Jack a rematch.
The Adonis Vs Jack fight wasn't exactly lighting the division on fire we don't need to see it happen right away, Adonis is 40yo can't hold any complaints If he fights someone else, besides its not like Jack deserves a rematch he didn't do enough to win he was lucky to have got the draw If anything.

Stevenson showed heart and held on to keep his belt. Realistically he's 40 years old, and nobody beats father time. He better make his retirement money in his next couple of fights, and secure his place in the division in this era. It may be to late, we'll see.
