He was outboxing AM till he got caught. He got a little too comfortable & made some mental errors; the same as when he fought Mayorga & got laid out on his back. That reminded me of when Judah fought Tsyzu & thought how easy he thought it was going to be & he got caught. AM is a solid fighter but I don't see him beating PFB. PBF doesn't have those kind of mental lapses; especially against a dangerous opponent who's naturally bigger.

He was not really outboxing Tony. He was outfighting him. He was going straight forward the whole fight and giving Tony some problems. I seriously doubt we will see Floyd trying to walk down Tony like that.

I do agree though that Floyd would beat Margarito, but I envision scenarious where Margarito could win as well.

I thought he was ouboxing him. Landing left hand leads, turning him & landing. He was in/out & stood his ground in some spots because of his fast hands & feet. He was alot quicker than AM which allowed him to do those things.

I could see Floyd moving forward on him with a lead right, get in close and let his hands go, then backing out. Then repeat... just sort've in and out in and out.

Lewis would often charge in and just stay there. Floyd could pop in like that, but he's not nearly as powerful as Lewis and runs the risk of getting hurt badly if he tries it too much.

I think Floyd will fight Marg like he fought Castillo...more of a stick and move gameplan.

that was a good clip you showed. you see margarito catchs punchs, you can see his timing is good, and what i really like is that he punchs inbetween his opponets punchs and will hit them anywhere he could.

sooner or later a shot will get in and floyd wiill have to take a stand or put the car in 6th gear, cause i don't see how he will hurt margarito, floyds power is under-rated but he can also hurt his hands trying to punish margarito. i don't think mayweather has enough power to keep margarito off of him and if he tried too he will have to reach into margaritos arm lenght their for margarito countering in between floyds punchs would land and hit on the button and floyd goes down, and if floyd is hurt margarito is the man that can finish him off for good.

That'd be true if Floyd was just your average boxer, hell it'd even be true if Floyd was just a good boxer... but he's not.

I think Floyd is far too fast with his punches and Tony too slow with his to "catch him between his punches" like you suggest. Even if he is able to, he has to deal with the cat like reflexes of Floyd, and a great defense.

I do agree however, if Tony gets Floyd hurt, he is the man that can finish him off.

Ferocity, I'm curious to ask you. If Margarito doesn't knock Floyd out, do you think he can win a decision?

this may be how he is going to win. margarito will have to take a lot shots and make it a dog fight. floyd has shown me he can fight on the inside, but hes also shown me he doesn't like to fight on the inside for very long.

i think once margarito catchs floyd flush, maywather will be more worried about seeing the 12 round. or he can prove me wrong and try and make a stand for 12 rounds staying in the pocket longer then expected and bouncing out. i know he we will have a lot of questions answered about mayweather after his fight with margarito.
