Eh, not really. He'd always had a less than average chin, but he was clearly on Margarito's level physically. He was taking the fight to Margarito and getting the best of it for the most part. Then he backed up and got whacked...whack-a-mole style.

          Now? Lewis is old now.

Big punchers like Margarito and Mayorga TKOd Lewis, and that was it. Teddy Reid, Larry Marks, and Oscar Delgado all were unable to stop him, so obviously not everyone with a pulse stopped Lewis. Lewis has 22 fights and 20 KOs. Usually he stopped his opponent.

You do realize Oscar Delgado is 22-24, and has lost 10 in a row, and 14 of his last 15.

I did not realize that actually. That name rung a bell for some reason. I guess it sounds like someone else who is a good fighter or athlete. I was probably thinking of Carlos Delgado from baseball.

Either way, yall get the point.

Time to stop bitching and whining and discounting everything Margarito does, and just enjoy the clip.

yea i have a wierd feeling that margarito might be a bit over-rated. We will see when he fights mayweather.

Mind u, i have zero proof that he is over-rated, i just have a gut feeling for some reason. he seems to get lucky because of his power a lot. we'll see...

He's not overrated, when so many people insist Floyd will destroy him. Margarito is a top guy at 147, and Floyd should be fighting the top guys, whether they are a level below him or not.

I could also see Floyd handling Margarito as a great fighter like Floyd should. However, Margarito has a lot of stamina, size, power, a good chin, and he throws punches from odd angles. He can definitely pose a problem for Floyd.

It's not about being right or wrong as to how good Marg is. The only important thing is that at some point, Floyd fights Margarito.

Margarito isn't overrated by anyone except ferocity.

I admit that Margarito is a good, talented fighter.
