If he's smart that's what he should do.

If Adonis is the second longest reigning. Who's number one? Is it one of the lower weight classes like bantamweight or flyweight. Those guys hold belts forever. Remember Chris John he had that belt for like 10 years.

... there are significant differences between "smartness" and actual "intelligence"...

... (but what do I know?... I'm coming from another "culture"...)

I have no problem with the decision! Like they said, Jack won his rounds much more convincingly, but Adonis showed heart in rd. 10 & 11, and deserves a lot of credit! Man is 40! I don't think Adonis will give Jack a rematch. Adonis need to fight Kovalev, cash out, and retire! Jack should seek out Joe Smith Jr. or Marcus Browne, then the Kovalev vs. Stevenson winner...if they fight!

... Stevenson will not fight Kovalev at this stage... he didn't do that back in 2014...

... Adonis will not fight any "Russian school" fighter at 41 yo...

... Adonis managed to earn his money in Quebec (as expected) and now he will retire as " the reigning WBC champion" ...

I don’t want to see a rematch until they both face someone with a pulse.
Jack should face that guy that knocked him out
Stevenson should finally face Kovalev before he retires

I think it will be Gvozdyk next! I wasn't impressed with Gvozdyk's last performance, so I can't predict anything. Gvozdyk, at 6'2", should be able to beat Adonis, but like we saw last night, Adonis can change any fight with one punch!

... I just said that "Adonis will not fight any
Russian school fighter at 41 yo"... this means Gvozdyk included...

... I'm aware that Stevenson is (rather was) a big fighter... but, still, he's far past his best years...

I think Jack made him look 41 with those body shots. I don't remember Gvozdyk throwing many body shots vs. Amar. If Adonis doesn't fight Gvozdyk, then he should be stripped! I hate these WBC "interim" champions! How are they the "interim" if the champion is still active? Interim should be for vacated titles, or injured champions only!

... Adonis didn't fight Kova, Alvarez, etc... therefore he just can't start with fighting Gvozdyck right now...
