Diaz was outpointed but never hurt in this fight unlike Russel Jr. who was wobbled on more than one occasion. Gary won the fight but failed to win me over as a fan. Sorry but I just can't root for a guy who flops and clinches excessively just to survive for a boring decision. Not to mention the ref was in Russel's pocket and should never be allowed to referee again. Not impressed with the way Russel Jr won at all and now he will hold the belt hostage for another year. I don't know how anyone can be a fan of this kind of ****ery.

He’s never been a fighter with good foot work he fights the same way since I’ve know him at 13 come forward and swing home run punches at the body, he has a good chin and good stamina . He would have been a good 15 round fighter

Oh he got great upper body movement, str, great body shot with some serious intentions. This was Gary Russel jr. He was fighting and he's never been down for a reason. that jab was the difference.
