I have openly destroyed Warrington's chances all week on here so I suppose I'd better give him the credit he deserves. He showed himself to be a really good counter puncher which I had no idea he was capable of. The game plan was faultless by Warrington's dad. The hype all week was about Selby being intimidated by the Leeds crowd and while Selby may not have been scared he did let his pride drag him into a scrap which meant Warrington could get to work with the distance closed off. I got this very wrong indeed and I think Selby was as naive as I was to Warrington's timing because he would have just stayed out of range and boxed to his own advantages. Credit to Selby also it isn't ideal getting cut so early but he still gave us a fight and I'd like to see him back in the mix soon.
