Did You Score Taylor's Punches on the Gloves?

well if thats the case the judges should be fired cause they're scoring outside the fine lines of boxing regulations. and your point is probably true seeing as how the fite was a draw. what im trying to say is it was a draw because the judges gave credit to JT for landing blocked punches. lol. what a ***in joke. simply ***in hilarious. not u mann but the judges.

It all depends on the power. If you block a punch but it hurts like hell then it should count. Taylor's blockeed punches were still efective and should have counted since it weakened his opponent. I think Winky should learn to bob n weave. Well I'm sure he knows how but he should mix his defense up. Taylor's face still got jabbed a lot more than Winky hit himself in the face.

Nope, I can't score a shot that is clearly blocked 100%. I just think "some" Winky fans think that just cause Winky's hands are up that some shots don't hurt or land for that matter.

Not saying you are wrong but Im just trying to completely understand how you feel. My point, is are all blocked punches the same? If Floyd blocks Mike Tyson's punch he is still getting KTFO. Taylor was rocking Winky on alot of those blocked punches

Jermain was given ring generalship points for his blocked punches, and probably effective agression for his partially blocked punches.

how did it "Rock " him like u say when winky was never stunned not even once. do u know what "Rocked" means??? everytime Jermaine hit winky with those punches u speak of , Winky would simply smile and move foward throwing punches. last i checked doing that doesnt mean being "rocked".

Another thing, it's not like Winky picks off the punches out in front of his face. Having your gloves stacked right on top of your face and getting hit with power shots like that still hurts! Ask anyone in this forum who boxes. Winky is a great defensive fighter, but gets a little too much credit for his defense in this fight. Those power shots by Taylor were getting to Winky and stopping him, thus I scored them.

You are right, I have boxed one of my friends in my buddy's garage and it hurts a little bit to take power shots in the gloves when your blocking. It surely hurts a lot more taking power shots from someone like Taylor

I'll admit that Winky was blocking some of them but there were plenty of punches coming through Wright's defense.
