Who cares about number of fights. He’s thirty. He doesn’t get a pass just because he chose the beat up on teenagers into his mid twenties.

        • Gamboa beat Salido, but he was a puzzle for so-called high boxing iq guy with "great footwork"....

Mayweather owns 4 of the top 5 PPV FIGHTS of ALL TIME, fought 24 world champions in 49 professional boxing matches, What other big fights could he have made? How much better comp could a boxer have? So a "fan" was disappointed/betrayed? YOU WERE NEVER A FAN.
100% correct. Heck when the fight was 1st announced Roach AND Bob Arum BOTH said Pac would have NO PROBLEM doing the blood testing. And then Lance Armstrong backpedaled once Pac said no. Floyd even went down to 7 days blood testing and pac STILL refused.... The media and experts should of BLASTED Pac but they all instead blamed Floyd.

              It was no ass kicking.

Also Linares is no bum. He's a longtime champion with a lot of skill. Salido isn't a journeyman either he's a multiple time champion with a solid resume. You have no respect for the sport.
Why does everyone only bring up the low blows and never the excessive holding Loma did???

                • The writer says " a win agains a much bigger oponent ", BS Linares was not that much bigger even though he was at his natural weight, yes but they seem to exaggerate everything Loma or GGG do. GGG is legit yes, but somehow they want to praise " white " guys. ( GGG is slavic and Korean, not too white there ).

Salido was excessively holding at the end too. Why not brig that up? Salido three probably more than 100 low blows. It was cowardly to fight a guy in his second fight like that after not making weight by some distance and not stepping on a scale next day. He then couldn't beat Rocky Martinez with a fair playing field.
