Canelo has to beat golovkin convincingly , then beat jermall charlo and then beat Daniel Jacobs to become the pound for pound best..Mikey Garcia has to beat Robert Easter and take his belt and then beat hypemachenko to be the considered the best...boxing is not about who you like better..that's the problem with this idiot writers, just because they like how a certain fighter fights they automatically want to put him on the p4p list...same thing happened with Adrien broner in 2012 , he had beaten just bums and he was on the top 5 pound for pound list LMFAO according to these idiot reporters

Not to mention Lomachencko has gotten his ass kicked by a journeyman. Something that Lomachencko fanboys wanna sweep under the rug or completely ignore. While Bud as hardly been challenged. And even if you wanna say GGG lost his fights to Jacobs and Canelo. Both are worlds better than Salido.
Good post. I like Loma, but the jury is still out. He showed he has a decent chin and good recuperateive powers, but is he special? Don't know yet.

Mayweather's legacy will be tainted by him ducking and picking his fights (making Canelo drop down weight etc) The fact that he never fought a peak Paquiao is shameful. People don't see this today but in 20 years time, people will see what really happened and he'll just about squeeze in everybodys top 10 list.

Some people made a big deal about Lomanchenko being knocked down. But this is real boxing, when you make hard fights for yourself - this is what happens. It's no coincidence that the greatest fighters of all time have 3-5 losses on their record. Hope Lomanchenko keeps challenging himself. One of the reasons I dislike Mayweather is because he was so good and I feel he betrayed me (a fan) by ducking so many big fights.
Rigo was older when he fought Loma than Pacquiao was when he fought Floyd. Rigo was 37 years old when he faced Loma while Pac was 36 you fool. You bring up Canelo having to lose two extra pounds to face Floyd but failed to mention Rigo had to move up not ONE but TWO weight classes to face Loma.

Floyd has faced more world champions than Loma has without losing and without being knocked clearly on his ass like Loma was. Yet you dislike Floyd and love Loma? That is absolute nonsense.

                • The only man with the skillset capable of dominating Loma is Canelo, who is far too heavy. Canelo's style and skill would beat Loma, because of what I saw when he fought Salido. That said, I think Loma is #1 p4p.

Floyd became a three division champ at 28. Manny accomplished the feat at 24. Oscar did it at 23. Roy Jones did it at 27. And the list goes on and on and on and on. Hell, Adrien Broner accomplished the feat at 23. Lomachencko did it at thirty. So when you wanna yap about quickest to do whatever. Put that **** into context. Most guys don’t hang around beating up teenagers in the amateurs in their mid twenties like ya boy.
