Those roids will do it all the time. It breaks down an athletes body. The joints weren't made to carry all of that muscle mass. Eventually the body will shut down and take a toll due to all of that juicing. Remember Marquez is a small man and his body wasn't made to carry all that muscle.
My all time favorite fighter, I love him. I can't say that about any other fighter, lucky enough to see him fight mayweather, katsidis, pacquiao, and Alvarado live. A beautiful style of boxing to watch a sweet symphony. Gallo estrada kinda reminds me of him in some ways. Counter punching was his bread and butter. I'm happy the way he went out, he had nothing to prove anymore.
He had a good career but not great. If he was great he would have headlined PPV's. Other than Pacquiao his wins weren't against many hall of famers. Lost every second of every round to Mayweather. Diaz and Katsidis are some of his biggest victories. I repeat Diaz and Katsidis. Enough said. Remembered as a great counter puncher but also remembered for whining after loses because he would only counter and not try to dominate the key rounds when it mattered most.
