I don't think he's preparing for 12 at all. Listen to him talk, and I get the feeling he thinks it's a foregone conclusion he catches Jack with a single shot at some point. He had better do it early.

I think he'll be good doe!!
Stevenson is the goofiest, unproven boxing clown in the light heavyweight division. War Jack!

So Stevenson weights in at his usual +/- 173.5 lbs... That's a shocker....

Stevenson gets too much hate. He is a really good fighter. Yes he did avoid Kovalev, but only because Kovalev brought no more money than Stevenson can get fighting whoever he wants in Canada.

But he hasn't been beating all bums in Canada. Don't get me wrong - he hasn't taken a lot risks, and a few of his matchups have been sad (Fonfara 2; Karpency) But he has stopped almost everyone he has been in with, and a lot of them are good/tough fighters.

Boone, Dawson, Cloud, Bellew, Fonfara 1, Dimitry, Bika, Williams, now Jack. Those guys are all good fighters and I believe most (besides Dawson) were coming off a string of wins. (Bika had a DQ loss prior but otherwise had like 7 wins - edit - was wrong on Bika, that was his resume prior to the Ward fight).

Maybe Jack at 175 is levels above those guys, maybe not. But I don't think Stevenson is washed up yet, and I think Jack is a little chinny, especially early. I like Adonis by early KO. Charlo-Lubin, Charlo-Jrock both come to mind.

Jack's height and size is gonna be a big factor in this fight. Stevenson's going down!

While I don't disagree that Stevenson is a good fighter, I disagree on the level of his opposition. Dawson and Bika were washed up at that point, Top Dog Williams isn't very good and neither is Sukotskiy. Boone is a tricky gatekeeper but he loses almost as much as he wins. I will give him Fonfara I and Bellew as good wins.

Jack has been dropped and stopped before and not by murderous punchers either. Adonis could stretch Badou early or his power could make Jack apprehensive. If neither happens then Jack will bring it and attack that body. Its a compelling match and I will be watching.

People clearly aren't reading the article, he weighed nearly the same in the past two fights and If you go back further he was weighing in around the exact same weight of weigh-in.

Ummm why? Adonis has fought better, Jack best bet is to fight on the run because If he gets backed up he gets stopped or if he gets too aggressive he will get countered heavily.

Serious question. Does anyone even care for this fight?
