Ggg will as well. Thing is with Sergio, people understood why he chose the Cotto fight at that age. Theyd understand with Gennady as well. They will label him a coward too.

It's very similar in that aspect. (He was 39ish when he fought cotto too. At 36 he was fighting the likes of Macklin). Incredible what he did at his age.

It gets mentioned all the time but this ****ing mess with Canelo has turned into a quagmire. It was only a couple years ago that Sauders said he wasn't ready. Saunders seems only to be ready when Golovkin has other obligations.

Dude, don't know boxing? Now, let Canelo and GGG II would have happened first. Then he would be considered mandatory. But you can't say he is automatically GGG's mandatory because Canelo pulled out last minute.That makes no sense. Dibella or Loeffler. Capish?

I agree, they should let him get more experience before fighting GGG. He couldn't beat any of the top guys yet he's still very green. He's nowhere near GGG either. Charlo will knock this guy out.

Dervy has been the mandatory since he beat Taureano Johnson...in August 2017. GGG was allowed to fight Canelo in May, so when GGG needed an opponent, Dervy not only deserved the fight, he was ready and willing to accept the fight! GGG chose to fight Vanes instead. So what is Dervy to do? Wait until after September? What if GGG decides to fight Saunders after Canelo? Then they'll say the unification fight overrules the mandatory, and Dervy will be waiting for a title shot until 2019-2020. GGG either fights Dervy by August 3rd, or he vacates the IBF title! That's a fair exchange for a $20 million dollar fight for Canelo, if you ask me.
