Any promoter who only pick talent based on race or nationality is a ***ing IDIOT! It is all about $$$ whoever can generation will be Top Priority for that Promoter regardless.

Haymon should remember Floyd could not even sell out his fight against Baldomir in Michigan.
Fo sho, potnah. I love Floyd but he was nothing without Mexicans. That’s why he fought on Mexican holidays, yet not on MLK Day, Black History month or 4th of July.

You beat me to it lol. It's amazing how uniformed people supposedly following boxing can be.

            Nobody fights on those dates

and i could have swore that the top 2 fights in boxing history dont involve a mexican but they involve floyd.

and only 2 out of floyds 6 biggest fights involve a Mexican.

just some facts for you, not opinions.

Both promoters can promote who ever they want and neither are racists. Haymon promotes and advises boxers of all races and Oscar promotes boxers of all races. No racism here.

WTF! Double standards at it's finest.
Danny Garcia, Leo Santa Cruz, Abner Mares, David Benevidez, Pritchard Colon, Omar Figueroa Jr, Cris Arreola, Josesito Lopez, and others have basically been with Haymon from the jump, and that's without even thinking all that hard.

Haymon is after fighters; black, white, Mexican, Latin American, African, from Eastern Europe, Oceana, Canada, wherever. Come in, show that you can fight, the opportunities will keep getting bigger as you do better, until you've earned that big opportunity to break out, with fights put wherever the markets show that can work and/or wherever Haymon has a partner where he thinks you can draw.

Caleb Plant in Nashville (if he keeps winning), David Benevidez in Phoenix, Errol Spence Jr in Dallas, Thurman in upper Florida, etc. Jamal James was able to take a card to Minnesota for ****'s sake because he'd earned the shot.

Oscar De La Hoya has his company in SoCal, Texas, and Nevada for Canelo, and that's basically all he cares to have his company in (will give him backhanded credit for keeping David Lemieux on the East coast with Montreal, but even that only happened because Lemieux was already coming to him with Montreal money anyway).

Having a roster that's likely over 90% Mexican isn't inherently saying anything about race, but let's be honest here.

No one has a full count of every fighter with Al Haymon, but to argue that the man doesn't represent a good mix of fighters make you look a fool.

I think Haymon gets the "racist" label way more than Golden Boy. In fact the only time Golden Boy was accused of being racist was after the emails were released. They were pretty racist so there's that...
