Its not about giving Joshua the money , its about disclosing what involves the money .

Team Wilder is dragging it out ,otherwise the master minding of canceling meetings never happens .

I believe Wilders team will make the fight next not possible and make a deal however to do a fight after Breazeale , of course only after Joshua has announced his mandatory Povetkin and then Wilder will scream BOMB SQUAD !

Well at least Hearn is admitting that they have asked team wilder for answers and they received those answers, which is more than I can say for most brits on this board who still refuse to believe that it is team AJ holding up this fight. I know their plan now. Put this off as long as possible then be forced to fight Povetkin and then they can use the excuse we had to defend against Povetkin. Now instead of blaming wilder , don’t you brits have a wedding to watch ?

How can the talks possibly be dragging? Did Juicin' J come up with more roadblocks?
He didn’t say he’d sign if he had to wear deep sea diving boots and come to the ring wearing a wedding dress.

          Are you ^%*% ing ******?

He wants to know the terms, how do you not see that that is reasonable?

From what I’ve seen the talks are being held up by showtime funding the $50 mil by basically wanting a 5 match deal with the winner. So that somewhat waters down the $50 million as it restricts Joshuas income for future fights if he were to win.

It’s quite possible their is something for the loser aswell? Don’t know about that.

Didn't AJ said that if he got $50 million he would sign? He will get that and if it sells well he will get more.

I don't see the problem. Sign the contract and show up for the fight. Unless they want to control what gloves Wilder is going to wear usually these contracts are already adjusted for the fighters preferences at this level.

Well, it’s obvious that AJ / Hearn don’t wanna essentially be paid with their own money.

Wilder is a teeny money maker compared to AJ, who has greater box office draw.

If I promise Paul McCartney x dollars for doing a concert with me, who can’t sing and have no fans, I am basically paying him with the money from all his own fans.

Hopefully this explains it to ****** people who think Hearn is going to allow Wilder to make money from his own fighter’s brand.

                I doubt they’ll understand though.

The silence and lack of talk about other fights has me optimistic this one is getting fairly close to the finish line.

How do you know this ? So in essence you are saying Showtime have pumped the 50M in and are the ones who are delaying the fight ?

Did Joshua make 50 million in his last fight? No, so how the hell is he "getting paid with his own money" if he agrees to fight for 50 million? Supposedly Joshua/Klitchko each got around $13 million for their fight. So you're telling me nearly 4 times that amount is "getting paid with his own money"?

I'm not paying to see 1 person shadowbox. Joshua vs Wilder is much bigger than any alternate fight you can pull out of your anus so your points are ridiculous.

The real reason is Joshua wants $50 mill AND he wants to choose where they fight. He's scared to come here and fight even though it would make a lot more money from PPV/Showtime than it would over there. Filling Wembley is cool and all but it doesn't necessarily correlate to more money.
