  • Comments Thread For: Promoter: Whyte-Pulev Could Happen 7/28 in London or Bulgaria

Kubrat Pulev's promoters hope to reach a deal soon with Eddie Hearn for a fight against Dillian Whyte this summer. An IBF purse bid that had been scheduled for Thursday was postponed for one week to give them more time to work out a deal. Nisse Sauerland, one of Pulev's promoters, told Sky Sports on Friday that July 28 has been discussed as a potential date for Whyte-Pulev and that London and somewhere in Pulev's native Bulgaria are possible sites.

I think Pulev wins this via close decision victory, 8-4 or 7-5 type decision.

I doubt this fight even happens as probably seen as too risky for Whyte, they know he's not world level.

Why isn't Whyte bein matched with Miller? Thats the natural fight to make.

You're right but I think it's all of Whytes whining about deserving a title shot that has backfired on him. Miller is a much better match but if Whyte's truly a contender as he claims (he isn't) then he must fight other contenders.

I know they have a legit complaint, but I want to see Whyte Ortiz. He's a much more live dog than Kubrat.

Staying away from the "old man" Luis Ortiz, eh?

Why should he fight Ortiz to become second mandatory?
