Teddy says anything these days for a little limelight. A man who had a role in the shambles that was Tyson's career shouldn't be commenting on anyone else's handlers. Joshua has already beaten klitschko and Parker,I just don't see wilder as any more of a risk than either,he has a punchers chance but so does every heavyweight.

The way some of these guys go on about things like this you would have thought Joshua is a huge underdog.... AJ wants the fight next.

        Is Barry Hearn American?

        May 7. 2018:

'The Deontay Wilder fight, if I was Anthony Joshua, I'd be leaving that for a little while.

'Not because I'm worried about Deontay Wilder but at this moment in time maybe I'm looking at 500,000 to 600,000 pay-per-view buyers. In a year, done properly I might be looking at two million, two and a half million pay-per-view buyers.'

Joshua has said he is '95 per cent' certain to fight American Wilder this year, but a deal has yet to be agreed.

Barry Hearn said: 'I said to Anthony: 'If you had six months to live I would say go and fight Deontay Wilder, take the most money, but if you're saying to me that you've got a legacy plan then I'm saying let's capitalise on it properly.'

umm this American wants the fight. If we recall it was AJ who asked for 50 million and now that , that has been offered to him he seems to have lost his pen . If team AJ wanted to wait for this fight to happen then they should have just come right out and said it. It’s a bad look to make a demand, then that demand is met and still no fight .

"I'm Teddy Atlas, and here's why this highly anticipated fight that the sport's in dire need of right now shouldn't happen"

I hate this dude for real

It's clear to anybody who isn't a moron who has done the most to make this fight now.

It seems that people are now buying into the narrative that Americans seem to be building by saying that AJ wants to delay the fight.

It's BS and it's purely a PR move to give an excuse to Wilder if negotiations fail. Remember Wilder turned down a solid offer to earn 6x more than ever before. Who knows what he might turn down next.

Boxing in the United States is purely and all about the commercials... That's why through history their fighters have ducked or marinated fights that should have happened years before boxing fans saw those fights. Nevertheless, Joshua is Joshua and Joshua fears no one. He is a superior black man!!! An African warrior of Nigerian stock. Where Joshua comes from in Nigeria they eat human beings there and this is why I pity Wilder

Wilder gets outboxed until he lands a bomb and stops AJ.

At ESPN they're still attempting to remove the dried spit spots left by Teddy Atlas on their monitors.
