Should there be one more attempt to make Kovalev vs. Stevenson?

Well I mean yea, if you want to see Stevenson lose I can understand why you'd want the fight to happen. But it's not like Kovalev would get any credit. Also, Stevenson will likely rematch Jack and if he wins that, he'll probably be 42 and a half by the time a Kovalev fight happens.

IF Kovalev can get by Alvarez then I think a showdown with Stevenson is the next logical fight for both. Jack gets the nod if a rematch happens and, IMO, Stevenson is a winnable fight for Kovalev - and would do good PPV business in Canada. This fight needs to happen NOW..

In all fairness to me, I've wanted to see this fight for a lot of years. Rightly or wrongly I put the blame for it not happening squarely on Stevenson.

That said, I don't know that a rematch with Jack is going to be next. I doubt very much that Adonis wants it. Gvozdyk is a mandatory for him and I'm thinking in this case he might rather take his chances with the devil he doesn't know (Gvozdyk) as opposed to the one he does (Jack).
