This isn’t just a Kovalev/Stevenson problem, it’s all of boxing. Today everybody & their brother has some version of a belt & it eliminates the top fighters from becoming mandatories. What were left with is A-level fighters facing c—level & has-beens. Imagine the fights we would have if boxing still only had one belt per division.
