I think the size difference might be too much to overcome but it would be interesting to see Loma try

Floyd by Decision in a 8-4, 9-3 type fight.
        Quoted for truth.

Pretty Boy Floyd by stoppage, too fast, too much skills, too smart, had his power there, that legendary defense, and that will to win!

It would be a very high octane chess match for the first 3 or 4 rounds where Loma would obviously dictate until Mayweather downloads Loma's data and starts to counter everything and take away Lomachenko's weapons!

I think Floyd would realize Loma is a very optimal at mid range but doesn't like to fight on the inside an would make it an inside fight!

The footwork shown in there would be sublime but Floyd would eventually stop him late!

Floyd was beaten by castillo in his prime and probably floyd was already using peds that time.

Lomachenko hasn't reached his prime yet.

Big Loma fan but Floyd is better prime for prime in my opinion.

It's easy to forget how good Floyd was down at those weights. He was a lot more offensive than in his later years, had good power, blinding speed and still defensively brilliant.

Possibly. He's 30 and guys at that size don't usually get any better after 30. You can say he's only had a short career as a pro, but he had a long extensive amateur career that still puts miles on the clock.

He's probably in his physical prime now. He will probably gain more ring craft, but his physical tools will probably start to have some decline in the next few years too, especially for his style.

I don't see how you can have an even fight between them with the large size and weight difference. Mayweather is a much bigger and heavier boxer. Loma is a full grown 30 year old who could make 126 and he fought at 126 not long ago. Mayweather was a lean muscular welterweight in his prime. They aren't the same size. Not even close. Loma is fighting above his best weight at 135. As for who is better pound for pound I think they are very close but I have to give the edge to the more proven Mayweather. He never lost a fight and had over 20 fights as a champion and he was never knocked down.
