Comments Thread For: Gary Russell, Joseph Diaz Express Deep Confidence of Victory

By Thomas Gerbasi - The squeaky wheel is the one that gets oiled. Joseph Diaz Jr. is no squeaky wheel. And it may be why that the best featherweight matchup this side of next month's Leo Santa Cruz vs. Abner Mares rematch is flying under the radar. But if anyone isn't going to get upset by such a reality, it's the man challenging for Gary Russell...

Mr Gary Russell Jr is a nice guy too. He's also the better fighter. I like JoJo, I read his tweets too - he's always on Twitter. However, tweeting a lot does not translate to being hungrier.

        Gary Russell by whitewashing decision

"Russell’s goals are clear at this point. Sure, he would love to unify the featherweight crown with any of the other 126-pound titleholders or go up to 130 pounds for a SuperFight, but financial security for his family is the main goal."

C'mon fam, this is easy! Gary Russell Jr. vs. Geronta Davis @ 130 at the MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD! Let's Go!

Diaz has some very good skills and I seen him a few times with overmatched opponents but I get the feeling he's biting off more than he can chew with Russell who I like to win....

This is gonna be a very, very good fight. Hard to go against Russell but he'll have to dig a little deeper than he's had to in recent fights.

Ok I could be more specific, prince naseem knocked out augie sanchez strecher and all right in front of his crying girlfriend. It was the fight before Barrera in our reality.
