We'll see about that won't we!
Mikey is too sound to be lost in the sauce with Loma's shifting, he will keep his lead foot light and his backfoot steady for the shifting!
He can step back and keep his position solid and make Loma come in or take the fight to him and go to his body!
Loma's options are to try use his speed and footwork and shifting angles to try an confuse Mikey but it won't work!
Mikey wastes zero movement, every thing he does is for a purpose!
He's either checking what you do and checking what you don't so he can set you up!
Loma's overconfidence will be his ruin!
Has Mikey ever fought anyone with a good set of legs presenting angles and lateral movement? I don't think he has. Everyone he has fought were planted right in front of him.Comment

I think it's more Loma who will nullify Mikey footwork than the opposite.
Let's check who Mikey did beat down, stopped.
Mickey beat down no head movement, flat footed guys like Zlacatin, Lopez, Martinez or Salido. Loma has speed, footwork, angles and head movements, doesn't fight at all in line like those guys, that dude is SLIIIICK.
Loma makes mistake but won't be there eating Mikey 4 punches combos like those dude.
My point is this, I think Loma in order to beat Mikey would have to take the Sweet Pea, Floyd route a bit more and start stealing rounds in fights a bit on the back foot.
Floyd, Pernell were beating guys down in their lower weight, changed their style when they started getting outgunned sharpening a perfect defense and adding old tricks.
After the Judah fight, a lot of people didn't give Floyd any chance at 147 vs big guns.
You know, I mean, Mickey has gotten better since the Martinez fight where he got dropped. Loma will, he just need to not fight Mickey next.
Big relentless guys like Beltran will force Loma to box that way, Loma ain't stopping Beltran and will have to see him 36 minutes.
Mikey has been fighting mostly stationary guys, average skills like Lipinets gave him fits, Lipinets is Loma's height, Loma has more skills in his pink toe than Lipinets has in his whole life.Comment

Loma still has a far better resume than Garcia. It doesn't matter how their opponents would fair vs each other. Loma has beaten better competition period. Mikey doesn't have Russell Jr, Walters, Rigo and Linares on his resume.
Salido, Djecacltin, Broner and Lipinets is farlessComment

I know bro, but I said ROy, Taylor and Calzaghe speeds killed Nard game.
So agreed with Roy but don't tell me Jermain fcking Taylor had better timing, counter punching than Nard.
Calzaghe wasn't a counter puncher, he overwhelmed cats with barrage of punches up and down.
I know Kahn was fast, but Khan has been koed 3 times, never recovered from KD except the Diaz fight. I think Loma ain't that china bruh.
Kahn, Spilka vs Garcia, Wilder, we talking about guys who had already been koed before those fights.
Your example are good, but I'm just saying Loma isn't as much there for the taking as those cats.Comment
