Garcia and Lomachenko are both too small to fight real 147 animals.

these guys have to stay somewhere at 130 -135.

Still feel Linares could have imposed himself more when you could clearly see the success he was having when he took it to Loma. Maybe he didn't believe enough, I don't know.
Garcia is too laid back and economical to outpoint LomA imo. He isnt a killer and a hunter that alot of fans make him put to be. He would rather be a counter puncher than the one taking the initiative. If he fight patiently against Loma, he would lose quick.

Garcia would not be able even to Outpoint Linares, which he ran from all year long. So he will be much easier work for Loma, much much easier...

I agree with the people who see it as a 50/50 fight. I give the edge to Mikey at this point. Not sure Arum is gonna make this fight any time soon though.

These are two of my favorite fighters. May the better fighter win!

If you look at the punch Linares knocked Lomachenko down with you could imagine that Garcia would land that punch a lot harder. I don't know if he would get the opportunity to land it. I remember Lomachenko getting hit quite a bit by some mediocre opponents in his early fights. Of course none of them did any damage. He made Russell miss for most of their fight but towards the end he was getting caught with some really good shots. It was way late and he wasn't in any danger. The biggest problem I see with Lomachenko is how relaxed he is when he isn't expecting any punches to come back at him. He's getting so used to doing whatever he wants against easier opponents that he doesn't see when danger is coming. That's a bad sign.

I can't imagine Mayweather ever thought Maidana (of all people) would be able to counter his own counter. Yet he did twice in two separate fights. Both times could have ended badly. Anything is possible when you have a good game plan and someone with power.

Yes, I believe Garcia can knock Lomachenko out but it won't be easy.

I can almost picture a Tszyu - Judah scenario.

Loma buzzing around, landing lots of hits - then the more technical boxer times a hit just perfectly on him...

It's possible, but I'm backing my boy Loma for the win! War Loma!
