You need to fight him first, Mikey. Talk is cheap.

Its a great fight, a real 50/50 fight where both styles mesh well imo and it all boils down to who can impose there style on the other.

*FINGERS CROSSED* arum old ass just wave the white flag and just make the damn fight.

Besides people don't give Linares enough props. Dude is super skilled. I hate to compare them but people forgot that Floyd also struggled against B level fighters like Maidana and Castillo in his first fight against them. But nobody said that he is struggling "because he is stepping up competition"
Very well said sir. He no doubts wants to prove himself against top level. I give him Full Credit!! With that being said, Mikey will be so huge vs Loma... Only takes one and Mikey pretty skilled.

Yesterday Mikey had all the skills needed to nullify anything Loma could do, and had all the advantages.

            Today, it's a real 50/50 fight...

            You feeling ok there, bud?

You are grossly underestimating Loma's skillset there.

There are reasons why Loma is a 2-time gold medalist (with only 1 loss) and a 3-weight division champ in the pros.

On the contray it's the opposite, Mikey likes guys coming to him, it's his speciality and that's what Loma will have to do it he wants to win!

Floyd never struggled against Maidana. People just blew a decent performance by Maidana, Maidana just happened to have Tony Weeks on his corner who allowed him to get away with repeated blatantly intentional low blows, rabbit punches, elbows, karate chops, and mua thai knees.

He struggled with Castillo but the moral of the story is the same. Almost every punch Castillo landed was illegal. It was within an illegal clinch, either after the bell already rang or after the ref already called a break.

Guy was repeatedly fowling and only had one point deducted. Mayweather fouls him once and gets deducted too.

That fight was a sham, and it says a lot that only serial offenders like those two were able to give him a 'hard time'.
