    I do not know WBO rules but years back the way it was, and it still should be, has it makes sense:

    if a challenger is NOT #1and wins the title he must face #1 first, then a voluntary... if he is #1when he wins the title he gets a voluntary first... very simple of all the bodies follow this way it would clear a lot of the BS that they spout...

            Liam made the wrong choice pulling out against Ali

            He had a chance to beat Ali I don’t think he stands a chance against Munguía

              Ali is a welterweight and had a questionable set of whiskers but Munguia still looked incredibly impressive in dispatching him like that. That's the only fight I've seen of Munguia's, I've seen Smith a few times. I think the Tijuana native would batter Liam down by round 8 or so.
