This level of viewers is not very common in that weight class and Loma is generating 1m+ consistently by pursuing big fights. How many fighters were that popular after 12 fights, in all weight classes? Whether you like it or not, Loma is building himself up to be the top dog and revenue generator at his level. He has the potential to be the next big thing.

disappointing. Less then the Loma/Rigo fight and even less then Oscar Valdez vs Quigg which drew 1.1M viewers just 2 months ago. So you can't blame it on the weight when Valdez is a featherweight.

              But still solid ratings.

What's even the point of the thread? that's why it's racist. No one claims Loma is the biggest draw in the world. This is just another ****** thread in order to somehow attack Loma.
maybe we should go back and ask what was the point of a lot of your threads sir... this is is no way racist, maybe the poster is (I have no idea) but you cant yell racism every time loma is challenged or not spoken of in a good light, ive seen some very racist things around here that make this thread childs play.

12 fights but he's 30. Not the same. He and GGG should have came over to the states earlier, instead of staying over seas beating on bums and staying an amateur.

Bahaha, the conference aint even over yet. The reason loma vs rigo did good numbers was because it came on after the heisman presentation. This the right number for a loma fight. Now matter how hard the media tries he's not a big name.

Great point the rigo fight ratings are inflated. Loma/Marriaga drew 700K viewers on ESPN. His numbers on HBO were never that high. I remember the Rocky Martinez fight flopped didn't even hit 600K viewers. For as hard as Top Rank and now ESPN tries to push him he it doesn't seem to translate to causal fans. Oscar Valdez who is smaller and less promoted drew higher ratings then Loma just did.
