Comments Thread For: Kovalev is Pulling For Badou Jack To Defeat Adonis Stevenson

While Sergey Kovalev will defend his WBO world title against Eleider Alvarez on August 4th in Atlantic City, he will be tuning into Showtime this weekend as WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson will defend his title against former 168-pound belt-holder Badou Jack.

I’m not saying anyone has ducked anyone, but I’ve pretty much given up on Stevenson-Kovalev. I mean, you would have to believe a fight with Jack would be easier to make. Any fight would be ffs.

There is 0 argument for Kovalev beign the ducker - he fought Ward twice for Christ's sake.

Koval has no interest in Stevenson, never did! Stevenson can punch and you saw Ward hurt Koval to the body and Wards power is average!

I actually think Stevenson doesn't want Koval either.

I think arguments can be made on both sides, but that’s neither here nor there. It’s a dead issue for me. My point was, regardless of who you blame, a fight with Jack would be easier to make simply by default if nothing else.

He's repeatedly tried to make the fight and has called out Stevenson several times and even insulted him. To say that he is the ducker is moronic.

These fan boys actually make arguments that Kova should have left for Showtime also to prove he's not ducking.

Can't win with some of these blowhards.

"He's repeatedly tried to make the fight and has called out Stevenson several times"..................................

What a fighter says means NOTHING!
What IS important is what his promoters says and does and Kathy Duva to my knowledge has never offered Stevensons people a real
                  offer ever!
