Because Jacobs has got all the big fights since signing with Hearn. What a joke.

And I dunno, there's something about this article that rubs me the wrong way. If I was looking to recruit these guys, sure, I'd say to them "I can get you more money and bigger opportunities," but to say that they "need help" is going too far. It's a really patronising way of putting it and diminishes their current standing, even if they could be earning more it's not like they're languishing in obscurity. If I were Wilder or Charlo I'd probably feel more insulted than tempted if I were to see this article. The whole reason Wilder was on Instagram to begin with was probably because you were proving to be so difficult to deal with, so he felt like he needed some extra leverage, anyway.
I think his attack on the American market hasn’t been a success and he is licking his wounds that’s why this deal has been a saviour. It’s like winning the lottery and you announce to everyone that you know that you want to offer them a job.
Let’s not pretend Wilder should be a global star or at least more recognised than he is. Forget Eddie Hearn his management/ promoter should be campaigning him around the world. He has a better knockout ratio than Mike Tyson why is he only just popping now? The Charlo’s are making noise . Any promoter will be licking their lips. You can see the growth potential in them and with a war chest that Eddie has coupled with his big mouth he is right to say he can make them into global stars. Forget Eddie as a promoter, money talks and there is a lot of it floating around. Personally I think Al and Eddie will work closely on this as Hearn could help Al with his growing list of fighters being active and Al Haymon can help Eddie with his Top drawer fighters

I'm not a huge fan of Eddie. But this deal of his is huge.
Spence should sign with him. Eddie could get him big fights and keep him active. I'm looking forward to see what comes of this DAZN deal.

hmmm ..
he did well with Foch ... two sellout fights at Wemebly for a fighter well beaten by Ward .. GGG chased Foch for years for a reason. Bellew fought in a football stadium as an A side as has Kell Brook.
When Hearn got the Sky Sports job British boxing was not healthy at all.
You say anyone could do it but just look at Wilder ... how many bad decisions. It seems obvious now to fight Charles Martin but at the time many said AJ was mad .. Wilder and Martin had the same promoter and could have easily done that one .. why not ?? Why not have used a small fraction of the 50M to fight Klitshko .. they were nearly forced screaming and kicking to fight Povetkin in the States (saved by a drug test) .. do you think Hearn would have messed that up.
Maybe it is easy but there are a lot of American promoters in the States making it look hard. With Finkel we would be talking about AJ maybe having a title shot soon.
Its fine to hate him but don't underestimate him he's very good at what he does ..

if AJ were American he would be in wilders spot..and vice versa....hearn isn't some magician.....any one of us, with the same resources/contacts, could have taken AJ where he is now
lets see him turn dan Jacobs into some superstar...lol

I’m pretty sure he got way more fighting Gennady and Quillen then what he got fighting Arias and Sulecki
HBO didn’t even want to pay GGg a mil for Vanes I doubt Jacobs purses are north of that ( I haven’t checked ) for Arias / Sulecki . I could be wrong though

in this moment, Eddie Hearn gave me flashbacks to former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight at the '95 Source Awards

No I think for Danny he should take him to the U.K. now he has the money and fight Billie joe Saunders . They now have the platform. Inundate the British public with Danny’s struggles and triumphs. There is also Degale sitting around doing nothing. He is there for the taking. Jacobs can easily become a 2 weight champion.

I would have to see how he promotes a US fighter first. Hearn may find its harder in the states where he won't be a big fish in a small pond. I mean he hasn't done much for Jacobs and the three fighters who he mentioned are building their own names. PBC can't promote all of the guys on their roster adequately so it make sense for all parties to outsource, but if I'm one of the bigger names in the sport and he's not offering a hell of an incentive package, I don't see a reason to sign
