a ****in chimpanzee could have promoted Joshua since he turned pro and he would be in the exact same position...this guy thinks he can turn wilder into AJ over night with some magic touch...lol

if AJ were American he would be in wilders spot..and vice versa....hearn isn't some magician.....any one of us, with the same resources/contacts, could have taken AJ where he is now

lets see him turn dan Jacobs into some superstar...lol

I'm not sure that's entirely true though, even if it seems thay way. Hearn took a big gamble putting Joshua in against Klitschko, which made Joshua into a star. Someone like, for example, Frank Warren would never have done that - Warren would have matched Joshua against 30 stiffs and then had him fight for a WBO belt.

I remember Eddie Hearn complaining about Wilder doing radio interviews the week of the Ortiz fight. He went on to sell out Barclays & get over a million viewers on Showtime.

Wilders probably the #1 American boxer right now as far as popularity and the Charlos have a tonne if hype behind them right now

I doubt that any of them decide to go with Hearn and his unheard of streaming platform

Hearn May be able to work magic in his own territory with the help of sky but so far what he’s done stateside with Jacobs can’t be called anything but a disappointment

It’s been almost a year and Jacobs has no increase in hype or buzz ( probably lost a bit ) and his attendance for his fights have been lack lustre

I agree but his purse amount has increased so it’s not all doom and gloom

I’m pretty sure he got way more fighting Gennady and Quillen then what he got fighting Arias and Sulecki

HBO didn’t even want to pay GGg a mil for Vanes I doubt Jacobs purses are north of that ( I haven’t checked ) for Arias / Sulecki . I could be wrong though

Eddie Hearn has made average boxers into very rich household names in the UK. He rarely loses fighters to other promoters. I think he’ll do well but I can’t help but think there’s a reason why the US promoters don’t pay as well as him

and he had Brooklyn fighters on that card that's what makes it even worse.
