Yeah, in most people's eyes he already won the first one. Why would he need to fight someone who won't abide by the rules?Comment

The crass ******ity of Canelo and his team is beyond belief.
After failing a PED test, they actually thought it would be a good idea to withdraw from testing completely and try to use that to screw a better deal out of GGG.
And if he won't sign their shitty contract .. no problem ... just tell everybody he's ducking and fight Spike instead!
Brilliant!
Maybe I have a little too much faith in karma but I believe that this will backfire badly for Canelo. GGG is only just beginning to age, he has 2 more years at the top, in that time they’ll meet again. All of this drama will have a psycological toll on Canelo when they face off, he knows the truth, he will have to test for their next bout. The next fight will hurt more and he will lose, it’ll end his career.Comment

FACT: if Golovkin really wanted that fight, he would sign the contract, so that Canelo could start testing tomorrow

Agreed, ******ity or arrogance I wonder? Everything about their actions shows they don’t care about the fans or have any respect for their opponent, crass is a good word for it.

I am everywhere
it looks like you guys just ran out of things to cry about lol
From @MGoodmanMD at @Vada_Testing: “We have received VADA forms from Mr. Alvarez’s (@Canelo) representatives to enter year-round testing. We are currently processing & reviewing his paperwork.”

Actually..it is not exactly the same fight. Canelo was PEDing and the first fight ended in a draw with a prevailing professional and public opinion giving a nod to GGG. These two reasons might be sufficient to re-negotiate the deal. Canelo's stock as A side has gone down a bit, wouldn't you say? It would be silly not to use the opportunity to pull the blanket a bit over to your side. Any good negotiator would do it, its business at the end of the day, not just sport. So...there you have it
it is exactly the same fight
unless Golovkin sold world-breaking numbers in his last fight ?Comment
