Sure he did, but Floyd didn't fight a guy of that caliber until his 20th pro fight or so. And let's not forget that Salido was over weight, cheated the whole fight and still got out landed and almost stopped.

I think Loma clowns Tank, and the Garcia fight is 50-50.

But the comparisons to early Floyd are premature. And imagine Loma facing the Floyd that destroyed Corrales, or the Floyd that mugged Gatti. I'd definitely have to lean towards Floyd in that fight, but man I would have loved to see it.....

Good post. The jury is still out. Floyd has an ATG resume and Loma is only 12 fights in.

That's uncalled for. You should look into Dan's history on piling on compliments to Floyd before making such ignorant statements.

No, salido made himself look like a guy who knew if he didn't cheat, he'd be leaving on a stretcher... he also made himself look like a total b1tch turning down 720k for a rematch. How many times was SRL dropped? Almost all guys have been... and technically, Judah DID drop Floyd, but the ref didn't call it, and I'm one of his biggest fans, but even I know that.

More importantly, was Lomachenko hurt at all? No. It was a flush, really good shot, and he wasn't hurt, buzzed, never lost composure, just kept pressing, and any judge having Linares up by 2 imo was not watching the right fight.

It doesn't matter who you are in boxing, any fighter can get dropped.Mikey got dropped with a perfect counter from Martinez. Floyd Mayweather who is one of my favorite fighters was knocked down against Judah but it wasn't counted and some could say that he even lost to Castillio in their first fight. But what makes Mayweather a great fighter is he adapts very well and has a plan B, C, and D. What I liked about Loma is he adapted very well after getting knocked down and showed why he is truly an elite fighter.

I like Tank, I think he has a lot potential. However, it seems that all he throws are hard punches which is okay when your not fighting the elite of the division. However, when your fighting boxers who can capitalize and can throw variations of power, I think that will give Tank a lot of trouble. Also, against Fonseca, it showed that Tank is very susceptible to counter punches. However, he is only 23 yrs old and can still fix a lot of the flaws and I hope that he has a bright future. I definitely see him to be more talented than Broner was at this age.

Just seen Tank basically saying send the contract on his Twitter after the Linares fight!

Hope that gets made, I think Tank should move up cuz I don't see him fighting anyone at 130 besides Farmer vs Dib winner and maybe Machado!

Berchelt and the others are with Golden Boy and Top Rank!

Make it happen, Mikey vs Loma not gonna happen till likely next year!
