Crawford has beaten a lot of good fighters but no greats. I don't think he's ever gone into a fight he wasn't expected to win, whereas Loma against Rigo, Walters and a larger stronger Linares were all big challenges to overcome.

Was Loma the underdog in any of those fights? Go check!

I'm comparing them at the same ages! Loma was NOT better than Floyd in his 20s! Loma is NOT better at 30, than Floyd was at 30! By the time Loma started his pro career @ 25, Floyd had already beaten Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, and Castillo twice! Those are NOT amateur fighters! Like I've said, when Floyd was 30 (2007), he beat Oscar @ 154, and came back to 147 to KO Ricky Hatton! If you think beating Jorge Linares is better, then you're NOT in the real world! If you wanna go by "experience" loma was a 2 time olympic gold medalist, the most accomplished amatuer boxer ever and turned pro when he was like 26. Thats Experience

Floyd turned pro when he was 18 and became a world champion at 21. Loma was still beating up teenagers until he was 26.

He was also 396-1 with 2x gold medals. Remind me of how many losses Floyd had as an amateur and of how many gold medals he has. And lol @ your ****** screen name. We take you seriously alright ha ha ha!

It's always good for a fighter to get humbled, especially like this. And I think he's right. Guys see that he can be hurt and can picture themselves doing it. So more fights will come with ease.

I think Loma-Mikey is a 50/50 fight. Mostly because of Mikeys size, power and counter punching. If I were Loma, I would wait a few fights before moving up to 140 so that he can naturally grow into the weight a little more. He's small for 135, he'll be tiny at 140.

That said, If Manny wins, that fight at 140 is the one to make!

For most of his career Floyd was primarily s defensive pot shotter - stealing round. Very effective but nothing like the offensive skills of LoI'm and not as fun.

I agree he was humbled but I don't think he was hurt at all.

Not in any major way. Definitely not. I thought he got shocked probably more than anything. He's been showboating like crazy in other fights and simply wasn't challenged at all. To get dropped is a big shock after all that. But he adjusted quite nicely.
