I can't wait for June 9th! It seems like forever since we've seen Terence Crawford! It's a shame that Lomachenko was not around (2013-1014) when TC was beating up Burns, Beltran , and Gamboa @ 135! That would've been epic! Until Loma beats Mikey @ 135, I still have Terence Crawford as my P4P #1, GGG#2, Mikey Garcia #3, Loma #4, and Spence Jr. #5! Lightweight, Jr. Welterweight, and soon to Welterweight World Champion! The only fight I want to see more than Mikey vs. Loma, is Spence Jr. vs. Crawford! That's some Leonard vs. Hagler 2.0!

        I like Horn's logic.

He understands that he is going to get beaten, and beaten badly. Which means he won't have any respect by the end of the fight. So, he figures, he has to try to get a sliver of respect early. At least then he can have a fragment of respect at some point.

It's genius. Sadly, I think he will struggle to implement this plan. I think TC will have zero respect from the first second of the first round, and will probably just get less than this as the fight progresses.

Don't get me wrong - I like Horn and think it would be great for him to do himself proud. But realistically, I don't think he belongs in the same ring as Bud.

not sure why but I want Crawford to bash this guy's head in so hard.

That good part is that it's 100% guaranteed this will happen. so yay!

I like that top 5!! I personally have Spence- who I think is a beast, mind you- a little lower due to his infuriating habit of fighting almost never while he is in his prime, but I can't argue any of those picks based on pure eye-test skill levels. I got Olesandr Usyk in my 5 spot, and Lomachenko at 3. But I can't put Canelo Alvarez in my top 5 anymore until this suspension is over (top 10 still), so why not Garcia?

What I have noticed on this site is the closer we get to any fight, the more the underdog starts getting love. People are actually starting to outright pick Horn on this site!! I find that way more fun for these threads!!

I am not sure Crawford brings power with him. He has moved up a ton of divisions since he burst onto the scene. There is not one punch power from him. He is generally an accumulative-type fighter (unless he has a scrub in front of him). He finds weak spot and unloads on it until he breaks wills and bodies. But 147 is a different animal, with much larger fighters cutting weight to come down while he is training to get the weight up. Horn is not a great boxer. He will be in front, and these comments prove that. He is what he is- a bull in a china shop warrior that tries to swing through his opponent. Crawford is a slick defender, masterful puncher from different angles, and will sharp-shoot Horn to death. I am leaning to a UD win, but this is a great test for his first fight at 147. Horn won't go away easy, but Crawford should have him figured out by the conclusion of the first couple rounds. Can he hurt tough-man Horn enough to put him away?

Target practice. Wide decision. Horn goes home with a big payday and being able to say he was a champion for a while.

Which fighter, in their prime, wants to fight Spence Jr.?

I would expect some type of rough housing or dirty tactics by Horn to try and upset Bud, I still look for the fight to end in Crawford favor around round 9 possibly before...

Horn is a weight bully, but it's getting harder to make 147. Crawford by KO. Horn might come in overweight, give up the title, and try to stay undefeated.
