It's such a newbie mistake that I see even judges make it. Or they use as an excuse for corruption I don't know. Do you see the same? Compubox guys also seem to score them.

Yep. Watch Canelo-Golovkin. Golovkin supposedly landed 100+ power punches, more power punches than jabs. Nobody can find them. We have jab highlights videos etc but people can only find a few of these 100+ power punches.

They score sound effects and who’s face is less hurt. Some people on here act as if the commentators help them know what’s going on and Lampley especially likes to call glove punches, the judges have no background in boxing and they’re all old as bricks and can’t see. Basically there is a lot of people who don’t know shat about boxing.

Exactly, GGG vs canelo is a good example of this. Somehow GGG landed over 100 power punches according to compubox but we all know thats incorrect

People also think GGG got robbed because he was walking forward throwing punches, unable to tell that he was missing

Its apparently NO different how fans score fights either .

The difference is they get to see replays in between rnds so ?

Its not really the judges fault or compu box to have a FEW missed punches bc they are watching live which is terrible ,they need T.V access to at least review or look at blows that may not or have landed . One minute is plenty to see certain punches that may have been out of view .

However take the Loma fight .........a fight with TWO SEVERLY questionable scorecards .

BLATENT scheming going on or they are ******ed ?

See you are correct here .

You have to look at punches actually connecting .

agree. fights like floyd pac where pac lands all the clean shots are scored for the guy just throwing a ton of punches that dont land or at best softly graze. i guess its a smart tactic if you can trick the 80 year old judges

not sure that compubox was wrong. Loma does not react to getting hit with clean shots. Not saying he isn't affected by them but his forced non-reaction leaves the viewer with the impression that maybe he didn't get hit. Replays show that not to be true though.

Golovkin Canelo was a good example. Golovkin blocked a lot of punches with his gloves that got counted as punches by Canelo.

And some people simply ignore what they're seeing and just go with the fighter they favor.
