Pump the breaks on the whole destroys everyone at 154. Lets put things into perspective he beat a blown up Welterweight.

Hind sight 20/20 Ali should have dropped the belt and would have become number one contender for the WBO winner between Horn and Crawford.

Anyways Munguia needs some more experience. Lets see him beat Liam Smith and then fight one or two solid contenders by then he can attempt to unify.

Munguia's handlers need to play this smart and realize this kid looks to have major upside.

The kid has all the potential in the world...he just needs to keep working on his skills and stay busy. If he has the right team around him he can go far in boxing. Every 10 years a great Mexican fighter emerges. Hopefully we saw the birth of one this weekend.

Happy for him, Ali was undersized but that's not Munguia's fault, he was willing to take on GGG at 160 so wasn't looking for the easiest belt available. Munguia is the true '154-168 can get it' king, he'd probably beat DeGale if he got offered that.

Smith is a good next fight for him, a solid, experienced opponent but not an elite talent fighter. If Hurd's next 3 fights are gonna be WBA madatory Lara, Charlo unification, IBF mandatory J-Rock, after that Munguia could be ready to collide. For now he looks green but dangerous, Smith fight should give more rounds to judge him on.

I agree with everything you said, also Jaime Munguia is weight bully at 154, put him in someone his own size and he will look average.
? Ask any fighter they all struggle to make weight. Well most do anyway. If he can make the weight what's the diffence between him and any other fighter. Why wouldn't he put himself in the best possible position to win a title? He was willing to fight GGG. Must not be to much of a bully. Ali is a good fighter just fight in above his weight. Why call these guys bums. Lot more to it than what u see on tv.

NSAC actually rejected this guy as an opponent - when he was 28-0 with 24 KOs but they sanctioned Mayweather vs McGregor

                  NSAC is a fking joke.

He carried himself well but let's not carried away, Sadam Ali isn't really that good and he wouldn't many at 154lbs. Let's see how he handles himself against Brook first then others.
