The guy is only 21, he is raw but can hit hard with both hands and take a hit too, with dedication and a good trainer he'd be able to make a lot of noise in 2 or 3 divisions, he's 6'1

...and let me guess, all the top 154lbs have to build their name up to face him....or if the money is right...or 70/30 to fight him now.

You are one of the worst users from here and a stu.pid mexican hater.

Munguía has a lot of tools and a devasting skill to attack
So now its a bad thing to move up in weight as you age?! Is Donnie Nietes a weight bully for winning world titles from 105-112 and is about to challenge for the WBO superbantamweight title?! and you call me a 'Mexican-hater'? Who was it that made the charge that Estrada beat Rungivsai?! Do I not support Jose Ramirez ( Mexican-American ) was I not one of the biggest Canelo fans?! yeah you remember how we argued about Saul, you hated Alvarez!

You see the problem is that I keep it REAL, You Mexican/Mexican Americans are a bunch of **** riders for your people, but hey most members on this board are the same.

The truth is that we don't know exactly how good this kid will be at the moment.

Time will tell as he fights more at 154 against top 10 contenders how good he will be or if he can beat the top guys at 154.

Right now I would pick Hurd and Charlo to beat Munguia.

But let's see how Munguia develops and fares against better competition at 154 before praising him or denigrating him.

Time will definitely tell whether this kid is the goods or not.

González outweighted most of his.rivals in 105.108 and 112

              Period.

Brought back memories of the mugging of Andrew "Six heads" Lewis v Ricardo Mayorga.

At 21 Mungia looks the goods. Say what you will but the kid has power and of course , Ali's lack of size did not help his cause either!

Good win for Mungia. Welcome to the big leagues. Lets see how he gets matched going forward.

Tough tough loss for Ali. He was ready and tried his darnest but he was just outgunned and outsized!!!

At the weight class, size was always going to be Ali's Achilles heel and coupled with a suspect chin this fight had disaster written all over it.

And this was not even a mandatory defense.
