I lose track. One day he's ready, then he's not, one day lomachenko is a bully picking on poor little tanky, the next day he's gonna get wrecked by him.

so to me davis fighting loma right now would be the near equivalent of loma fight jmm when loma was 23....i dont think he'd go there

you may disagree...but im more of an age over "pro fights" guy....loma made this by choice...he wasnt forced to wait till 26 and go to another olympics....
You also don't get the same kind of experience at the amateur level fighting 4 round fights in headgear as you do at the pro level.

Either way, Davis didn't have a short amateur career either. He claims a 206-15 amateur record. Why are you babying a man that's turning 24 this year?

Davis is good, but he's nowhere near as proven as Lomachenko at this point. With Rigondeaux and Linares on his record, I have no real reason to believe that Davis could beat him. Lomachenko moves all night long, throws hard and awkward, and has what looks like an amazing engine. And now we know that he can beat up men much larger than he is.

I'd prefer for Davis to develop himself a bit more, but Mayweather seems to fancy the fight now, so who knows. If he takes it now though, I see him being embarrassed.

            I doubt it.

            Skill level disparity is gigantic.

            Also stylistically heavily favours Lomachenko.

Davis does not want the fight and thinks Floyd is setting him up to lose by calling for Loma, but I'm glad someone thinks Davis will win.

of course he would, these loma fan boys have no idea about boxing. Linares is a quitter, he could continue but he decided not to. He's an shi**y boxer...no footwork and no defense.
