Props to Ali for not making excuses unlike HBO who were extremely biased in their commentary tonight. Ali had previously been koed by Vargas who isn't a big puncher at ww, yet they insisted weight was the decisive factor in this fight. Nevermind the fact that Munguia is a more natural power puncher regardless of weight or that despite being only 21 years old, showed excellent poise and measured Ali with well placed flush shots. Nope, according to the HBO crew Ali was some sort of victim champion for not being talented enough to overcome a hungry young fighter. Both fighters made the jr mw limit and there was only a pound difference between the two in the same day weigh in, it isn't Munguia's problem Ali is soft and chinny for the division.
