Mikey doesn't look like much from the outside looking in. He does everything so fundamentally sound, that his style looks basic and boring. It's his opponent that has to worry about Mikey, not fans. When they're in there with him, it's a lot harder to let power punches go against him, than it seems.

Mikey is powerful, makes few mistakes, throws straight hard punches (never goes wild), keeps his chin tucked, never tries to show off.

If this fight happens, only then you can see how Mikey can beat Lomachenko.

With that said idc who wins, I would praise either guy who wins, I like them both.

How does he slow down a guy who fights at a high pace like Loma? Dude stays in your grill every second.

I simply think Garcia will flatten him.

Size, power and veracity, just to name a few. And as Breadman Edwards said, Mikey has the best 1-2 combo in the game.

          Loma's quicker, faster, and athletic.

They both got ring smarts, high boxing IQ etc... It would be a chess match straight up.

I like both fighters but in the end, Mikey might be too big for Loma.

            It's a good question.

Loma got tagged more than I would have liked tonight. I think Linares had good hand speed, some nice accuracy and a big reach advantage - and I am not sure Loma showed him enough respect.

Loma could get away with it against Linares, who isn't heavy handed. But I think Garcia would be doing more damage. Would Loma be more defensively careful against Mikey? Maybe.

So I think it is obvious that Garcia has a size and strength advantage. I can't think of anything else which he is obviously better at.

He's something less vague; you're borderline ******ed if you don't see a difference between Garcia and Linares. I get it, you want to defend Loma. Your thread got shot down in the first post. Try again later.

Loma is a modern GREAT, but every man has his limitations and if he got a handful from Linares, he's going to outright struggle with Garcia.

Mikey is a master at distance and keeping range (which nullify angles)
Mikey is a master at timing (which nullifies speed).
                  Mikey is a master counterpuncher.
                  Mikey is the bigger puncher.
Mikey is a master at controlling pace.
Mikey is the proven fighter with bigger punchers.
Mikey is more experience as a pro.
Mikey is a master at controlling pace.

Mikey Stops Lomachenko inside of 10 rounds.

I think Loma got a little to comfy in there. When he got dropped, he wasnt using head movement. He seemed to be on a high and was feeling himself a bit too much. Changed that quick in the next round.
