I think Loma beats him. Its probably Loma's closest fight since Salido, but I like Loma. I would still give Mikey a punchers chance in that fight cuz if he can hit Loma maybe he can hurt him & take him out somewhere along the latter rounds, but if Mikey doesn't KO Loma I don't see Mikey winning this one. And thats not even to imply Mikey can't win a fair decision. I just think Loma is the superior boxer.

I'd also give Regis Prograis a very solid chance to beat Mikey. But its more in that way that I think Charlo can beat Jacobs or other top guys. Prograis & Charlo both have looked impressive with their power specifically, but the quality of there wins has shown them to be capable of only so much vs a certain caliber of fighter thats well beyond the Jacobs' & Mikey's. But that said I still like Regis' chances vs Mikey.

I think Prograis beats him at 140 and Loma beats him at 135. He probably beats everybody else at those weights.

I bet we never get to see either because Mikey doesn't love the sport and he's all talk with no walk.

That's how this dude has been his entire career. The guy will probably fight a couple bums and head into the sunset with a perfect record so he can continue to run his mouth.

He talks that he can fight 147 and had a chance to stay at 140 but chose not to because the other champs would whoop him. He says his best weight is 135 and that's because he's slow and not a big puncher. At 135 he just needs to weight bully the smaller guy.

I would love to see Mikey take a 50/50 fight like Lomachenko is with Linares. Yeah Loma is the favorite but he's the smaller weaker man.

Why is everyone so high on Mikey 2 head? The guy is just good, but nothing spectacular about him. The only way he beats lomachenco would be to land a money punch... but he'd never keep up with him.

If I’m being honest with myself I’d only give Crawford the edge due to the sheer size difference. Crawford was in the 150s vs Gamboa lmao. Dude is huge AND has the skill to match.

But at 135? Only Loma. He’s not a huge puncher at 140 (especially considering he fought Broner who isn’t small and has a very good chin) but he’s seriously cracking at 30-35.

Loma at 135 and it’s close to me. Mikey is so fundementally sound and technical that I just don’t see him losing sight of anyone in the way Loma dances circles around these other guys.

Really, the only question about Mikey to me is his chin, and it’s probably unfounded...but talent wise he’s special. His technique and lead hand are surgical. He’s classically good.
