Did Linares admit to ducking Mickey?

The weigh in was aired on espn but before they had a little interview segment with Jorge and he said Mickey is a very dangerous fight for him that's why he went with Loma.

He was asked why you don't think Loma is dangerous and he said "No, i don't think so".

You can't blame him for fighting Loma. Mickey moved up to fight Lipinets, and was talking about fighting Spence, (which is ridiculous.)

What was Linares going to do, wait for Mickey?

Many on here seem obsessed with ducking. Saying Mickey is a dangerous opponent isn't ducking him. If he was offered big money to fight Mickey and turned it down then maybe that would be ducking. He is fighting a guy more dangerous than Mickey but he doesn't know it yet. He will find out tomorrow when Loma probably beats him.

Both of you are wrong. Mikey said he had an verbal agreement to fight Linares after the Lipinets fight. Linares acknowledged they had a verbal agreement with Mikey on twitter saying Loma was a good opportunity or something to that affect which is why he went another direction, not wanting to fight Garcia.

Mikey turned down Linares, that is a fact. Fact. But apparently Linares didn't want to fight Garcia, he offered him a deal to fight as a bluff and Mikey turned it down even though Mikey is the one who really wanted the fight

Revisionist History by a lot of MOfos

Mikey didn’t choose Lipinets over Linares

GB didn’t want Linares in with Mickey

Loma probably beats Linares , Mikey probably body bags Linares

Where did you read Mikey turned him down? Heard and read the exact opposite.

Oh, a verbal agreement?!! Well, why didnt you say so?!! Those are 100% guaranteed, worth they're weight in gold they are. A verbal agreement.

Geez, well I guess Linares ducked Mickey then. And there I was thinking that an aging fighter like Linares wasn't going to put his career on hold on the iron-clad promise of a verbal agreement. Silly me lol.

Yeah. That would be fine and dandy but too bad Linares acknowledged it and saying he's going to Loma instead of Mikey, leaving Mikey with either Easter or 140 pounders knowing they had an agreement to fight. Try again.
