Jermell Charlo savagely rejects Eddie Hearn

Off the top of my head, Golden Boy, Mayweather Promotions, Square Ring (Roy Jones), and K2 (Klitschko) are really the only "fighter owned" promotional companies I can think of that have actually signed other fighters, staged events as the lead promoter, and stayed in business for a period of years.

Would you not agree GBP is the most successful among them...and maybe all time. Idk that I can think of any fighter promotion bigger, but maybe I'm missing someone.

Square Ring never got THAT big I don't recall. Although they were legit. They were probably biggest when they had "Smoke" Gainer, when he was hot for a few years, under their banner.

And K2 seems like the GGG show & not much else so they've never seemed like THAT successful a promotion due to the lack of much of a roster. Think Usyk was with K2 or K2 Ukraine which I'm not even sure if they are the same or different promotional companies.

I'd probably throw Mayweather Promotions as #2 right now if pressed, but with the recent sh^tstorm I honestly wasn't wanting to hype them all that much cuz they seem to be going through some sh^t.

As for K2, Im not sure what they will do going forward. Im not sure Golovkin is even represented by them anymore. I dont remember seeing a K2 banner on the poster or the light grid for the Vanes fight. All I remember seeing was GGG Promotions and I think maybe a Don King banner (King had Vanes)........

No disrespect to U.S fighters but most won't sign with Hearn because they have it too cushty not being matched with each other. If the Charlo's were to sign with Eddie we'd be getting them vs Jacobs and not bums with wooden legs.

I like the Charlo's but they're all too happy being overpaid fighting scrubs and barking from a distance knowing there is a fence there to protect them.
