Same reason you headlice meth heads hate on Haymon. No1 is even hating on Hearn liar. Can someone tell me why these crackheads love Al Haymon to bits and hate Eddie Hearn and calling his new thing pathetic?
Both have:
- Free to air fights (although Haymon wasted all his money so now the big fights are back on cable)
- No PPV
- Work with different promoters
- Bringing new ideas to boxing
Why are people hating/loving the same thing? Is it blind nationalism?
Are people just idiots? Or are the Al Haymon fans just not real boxing fans?
I don't get how Hearn's new idea could in anyway whatsoever not be loved by real boxing fans. He has double the budget of SHO and HBO put together!
You know what that means? Bigger, better fights! Consistently.
Anyway, hate along. Same old boring crap from the idiots on NSBComment

Charlo brothers have already said they’d never sign with Hearn. In my opinion I don’t think no high profile “brotha” is signing with Hearn. Mikey Garcia is signed with Zuffa and none of the top guys will fight 3 times a year without being largely compensated. Hearn would go out of business real quick if he had all those fighters you mentioned fighting three times a year. Hopefully this venture is better than what he’s doing with Jacobs and HBOWho is hating Haymon?
Oh no.. free/affordable championship boxing! how dares he.
His idea failed, so be it. That's why PBC are showing a lot less fights.
Hearn has come in with bigger budget - So we can get to see Spence, Charlos, Wilder, Thurman, Porter, Garcia, M Garcia etc etc 3 times a year each!
On average they fight once a year currently.Comment

No they didn't. I think that might be the pp in Canada for the existing service, but there is a guy who is subscribed in Germany who posted here and he pays €10.
I think pricing it at $20 would still work depending on the level of content, but could be a mistake, they should keep it cheep and cheerful for now like Netflix, they played the long game and now have over a 100 million subscribers.
Ok you aren't going to reach that sort of level with a sports streaming service, but I think the end game must be 10's of millions, and even at $10 or $15 they will be in a very healthy situation.Comment

Danny Jacobs already signed with Hearn.
But yeah alright.Comment

He has a $120 million a year budget. Assuming half the budget is for UK shows, which it probably won't be because for the most part he doesn't need it there. It's probably around $5-8 million a show (without factoring in gate, etc.), that is massive, and allows him to put on BIG fights, with good undercards, and the shows don't need to make money, he just needs to make sure the subscription base is improving to a level DAZN are happy with.Charlo brothers have already said they’d never sign with Hearn. It's a really interesting approach, and completely different model. Exciting times.Comment
